5 Reasons To Install Central Air Conditioning in the Winter!

Learn why NOW is the best time to think about air conditioning for your home!

“Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we’ve no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”

Let It Snow was created by lyricist Sammy Cahn and the composer Jule Styne in 1945.

Contact Bornstein Sons to install central air conditioning this winter. Save on installation costs!Children are bundled up in hats, scarves and mittens.  The snow is deeper than it’s been in years….and…it’s cold outside! So, NOW is the time to schedule your air conditioning installation[1]!

“What!? You ask…The temperatures are still falling and I should think about…… cooling?”

Even though the radiators are hissing, and the furnace is firing, spring is just a few short months away!  If you are considering the purchase of a central air conditioning system for your home, now is the best time to buy.  #1  It is easier for us to install cooling systems in cooler months, particularly for systems that are located in attics.  Imagine the difference it makes working in an attic not heated to inhuman conditions of nearly 150 degrees by summer sunshine.  Ease of installation saves time and somewhat then relates to reducing the cost.  Also, as in any seasonal purchase, off-season should give you lower pricing.

#2 There may be some utility company rebates are currently in place.  We do not know if they will be here in the spring, or at what level we can expect them.  In previous years, such rebates have been reduced.

#3  Of greatest importance, your existing central air conditioning system may already be at or near the end of its life.  That first hot day in the spring will indeed come and you will regret not having scheduled your replacement sooner.  The initial demands for service and replacement at the beginning of warm weather overwhelm all of us in the AC contracting business, and sadly we are unable to accommodate everybody on that first hot day.  Why be uncomfortable?  Be proactive!

#4  Manufacturers typically increase pricing for the coming season late in winter in order to capitalize on the frenzy of the air conditioning season. Get in line before price increases are implemented by manufacturers.
